Closantel Soldium can be used together with mebendazole and other benzimidazole,, also with levamisol.

pharmacological actions:

This products can expel the Fasciola hepatica, haemogregarina contorts and some arthropod inside cattle and sheep. Yet has no effect on Paramphistomes. It can expel 90% of Haemonchus, Bunostomum, Oesophagostomum. Certain insect strains of haemogregarina contortus may have tolerance to this product. Closantel Sodium can well expel the Canine Hookworms, but not available to larva. It also prevents the horses’ infection of normal strongylid. Morever, it 100% kills Oestrus ovis(period 1,2,3) and well expels torsalo(period.). Its mechanism of anti parasite is by increasing the Mitochondrial permeability of parasite, uncoupling oxidative phosphorylation so as to kill and expel the parasite.

Indication:

Anti-trematode drug. Mainly for prevention and treatment of cow and sheep’s Fasciola hepatica, Gastrointestinal nematodes and sheep oestriasis.

Administration&Dosage:

Subcutaneous or intramuscular injection”

(each time)

Cattle :2.5-5mg/1 kg of body weight

Sheep:5-10mg

Precaution:

Injection agent may cause stimulation to partial organizations.

Withdrawal period:

1.Cattle, sheep: 28 days

2.28 days before weaning period.

Validity:

2 years
