amoxicillin soluble powder

Composition:

Amoxicillin

Indications:

Mainly for infection of gram positive coccus and gram negative bacteria, which is sensitive to ampicillin. Such as Pasteurella disease, colon bacillus disease, salmonella disease, pullorosis, staphylococcus aureus, streptococcus infection

Precautions:

It is recommended that the susceptibility of the causative microorganisms is established before treatment is started. Severely sick animals have altered drinking patterns and will need to be medicated parenterally. In case of changed water intake, adjust dosage in water or milk to maintain general dosage per kg. 

Side-effects

Hypersensitivity reactions, gastrointestinal disturbances. 

Dosage:

For oral administration:

Calves, goats and sheep:

Twice daily 5 gram per 100 kg. body weight for 3 - 5 days.

Poultry and swine:

1 kg. per 1000 - 2000 litre drinking water for 3 - 5 days.

Note: for pre-ruminant calves, lambs and kids only.

Withdrawal times:

Meat: 5 days (calves and pigs)   1 day (poultry)
